Public Relations

As the Brand and Social Manager at Cutlery Works, a premier food hall in Sheffield, England, I was responsible for running and developing advertising campaigns for three major social media accounts. This role encompassed creating paid campaigns and designing video ads across a variety of media platforms. I initiated the brand's Instagram outreach, which significantly boosted internal sales and bookings. By enhancing the digital image through photography, videography, and motion design, I effectively fulfilled our advertising and social media needs.

Harnessing the Power of Sprout

Utilizing the Sprout email marketing system, I developed a robust user database that grew to over 50,000 subscribers. Incorporating this database with our internal app ordering system allowed us to create automations and make data-driven decisions for our business and marketing strategies moving forward. This integration was instrumental in driving revenue and encouraging customer return rates.

Navigating the Pandemic

During the lockdown period, I collaborated closely with the business owners to develop online-only brands and marketing strategies that enabled the business to continue generating revenue. Our prior work on automation and the marketing database helped us maintain a loyal following and transformed these ventures into nationally recognized kitchens. This adaptability not only sustained the business during challenging times but also opened new avenues for growth.

Savoring the Moment

A significant part of my role involved photography, capturing the essence of our culinary offerings and the vibrant atmosphere of Cutlery Works. These high-quality images were used across various marketing channels to attract and engage customers. My photography work was essential in building a visually appealing brand identity that resonated with our audience.

Community Collaboration

In a meaningful extension of my role, I partnered with the S6 Foodbank to support our local community. I conducted interviews with their team and launched a charity drive to bolster their cause. This initiative not only raised awareness for the food bank but also strengthened community ties and showcased our commitment to social responsibility.

The success and recognition from these projects paved the way for my transition into the growing media division of The Food Hall Company. I embarked on this promotion to develop a marketing strategy and brand development project with The GPO in Liverpool, further expanding my expertise and contributing to the company's overarching growth.
